World War II State Park honors the United States military with a "Monument of Peace" dedicated to those who served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. It also features an array of recreational opportunities, including freshwater swimming (with lifeguards), tennis, volleyball, horseshoe pits and a shuffleboard court. It occupies 14 scenic acres in the heart of town, less than a mile south of the Massachusetts state line.
Open daily sunrise - sunset. Lifeguards on duty Jul - early Sep: daily 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
